Tobias Hellwag has been a consistent member of the Giants of Backgammon since first appearing on the list in 2011 as #19. He has been voted as high as #16. Tobias has won and cashed in numerous major events throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and in the United States. He is often a member of German national teams, and has often appeared on World and European teams in international competitions. With two team Golds, two team Silvers, and an individual Gold, Tobias is the most decorated player in the WBGF World Team Championship history. Tobias is globally recognized as a stellar player and as one of the finest sportsmen and gentlemen in the global backgammon community.
